The New Zealand National Parks and Conservation Foundation:

During the Kathmandu Lizard Conservation survey undertaken by DOC, Puti, a highly trained border terrier, was used to sniff out geckos in wild terrain.

We are the only nation-wide fundraising organisation, endorsed by DOC,

that links the conservation estate with private individuals, businesses and visitors.

· we invite people in positions of influence to prioritise conservation.

· we promote approved conservation groups and projects to potential sponsors

· we manage funds and allocate them to projects that achieve conservation gains
